NOISE TEST STAND
The noise test stand was developed to determine if an AC motor produces a noise that is not part of of a normal operation. Some noises that our system can detect are defective ball bearings, mylar touching the the motor rotor and startup noise. The software application was developed using NI LabVIEW and the Sound and Vibration Module
THERMAL PROTECTOR TESTER
This equipment was designed to test thermal protectors in AC motors doing a locked rotor test to determine the amount of time it takes for the thermal protector to trigger. The software application was developed with NI LabVIEW using DAQ equipment.
